Groups from 0–18
We’re committed to teaching the Bible in a clear and accessible way for all ages. We want to partner well with parents and so our 2½s–14 year olds follow the same teaching as the adults meaning we’re all learning together and encouraging one another.
All leaders have an enhanced DBS certificate.
These groups run at the 9:45am service:
Runs throughout the service and you can use it at any time. Each parent/carer will get a buzzer, which will be used to let you know if you are needed at any point. There is a short story and song time at the end.
Starts with some games either altogether or in small groups. Then they come together to chat and listen to the Bible story, before making something that will remind them of what they have heard.
Everyone starts in a small group with others the same age as them, where they do an activity together. Then we come together to sing, celebrate birthdays, listen to God’s word and think about what it teaches us, through story, drama, games, video memory verses and more. We finish the session back in our small groups, with funsheets, games or craft.
Spend some of their time altogether and some in small groups. Sometimes they have talks, sometimes they do small group Bible study. They play games, watch videos, do challenges, and sometimes have special guests!
During the year there are a number of 9:45am services where all ages come together in the main church building, the teaching typically follows the same programme as the groups and the service is suitable for all. There is a crèche provided for those who need it.
Services around Christmas Day and Easter are also those where all ages come together.
