Prayer is vital to all that happens at Platt

Pray with us

You can join us in praying at our monthly Church Prayer Gathering, which takes place during the first week of each month. See the what’s coming up page to see when the next one is taking place.

Would you value prayer?

The Bible tells us we have a God who hears and answers our prayers. In every situation we are to present our prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to God. This is a wonderful privilege as we speak to the creator of the whole universe.

If there is someone or something you would appreciate prayer for then please get in touch with us using the short form below.

Your request will be sent by email to our prayer team in order to pray effectively for you. For further details of who is on our prayer team and how your request will (and will not) be shared, please click here.

We would like to share your prayer request with our pastoral care worker (Debbie Jones) and senior members of the staff team as appropriate (Paul Mathole, Sarah Bradley, Jack Marsh and Tim Wickham).

Please note that, unless you indicate that you wish for us to do so, your prayer request will not be shared outside of the prayer team. Please do bear that in mind if you are wondering why a member of staff has not been in touch with you.

The prayer team and senior staff team (if shared with them) will treat your information sensitively and confidentially, but please note that we may be required by law to share such information in the event of any safeguarding concerns.

The prayer team consists of approximately 20 members of Platt who seek to serve the church by making themselves available to pray with individuals at the end of services and for those who seek prayer. Prayer requests submitted via this site are received by the co-ordinator of the prayer team, who will share your prayer request within the designated prayer team as appropriate, but will not share your request outside of the prayer team unless you have specifically authorised them to do so, or unless required to do so by law.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
1 John 5: 14
