Coronavirus Updates

You’ll naturally be aware of the fast moving situation with Coronavirus. We’re regularly monitoring and reviewing aspects of church life.

Read the latest updates here.

In-person Services

Our three in-person services will resume from Sunday 14 March at 9:15am, 11am, 6pm. We have a full risk assessment and are operating within the latest guidance to be Covid-19 secure. Find out more by watching this video.

The next video shows what it will be like as you arrive.

Midweek Service

We are going to hold a short weekly service on Tuesdays at 2pm (please arrive at 1:45 to allow time to fill in test and trace information). It will be quieter, shorter and smaller than our Sunday services, particularly for those who find Sundays too busy at the moment.

Platt 175: Party in the Park

The gazebos are ready, the band are booked and the invites will soon be printed.
But there’s still more to do… Could you:

  • Bake some cakes?
  • Help with the arts and crafts on the day?
  • Deliver some invitations on Saturday 28th August between 10am-12pm?

If you can help in any of these ways then please email 175@plattchurch.org.

Baptisms

With restrictions easing, we are beginning to think again about baptism services. If this is something you might be interested in, either for yourself or for your child, please contact the office.

Platt Book Club

The next PBC, Platt Book Club, will be taking place over Zoom on Friday 10th September at 8pm. We will be discussing All the Lonely People by Mike Gayle. If you are interested in reading books you might not usually read and meeting people you might not ordinarily meet, please do come along.
