Accommodation Needed

CMS missionaries wanting Manchester accommodation during June/July 2019

A family working for CMS is on home leave this summer, and wants to find accommodation in the Manchester area / north-west region.

Lex and Alan Hamilton (with their children Joshua and Caleb) are looking for a 2 or 3 bedroom place. Ideally this would be available to them from 1st June to 20th July – but any availability over these dates would be helpful.

If you can assist in any way please contact directly Anne Henriksen (CMS Regional Personnel Officer for Asia) on +44 (0)1865 787412 or email Anne below.

Hooray for Hollywood: Holiday@Home

  • Tuesday 6 - Thursday 8 August 2019
  • Holy Trinity Platt

Join the ‘Holiday at Home’ team as we prepare for some bright lights, glitz and glam!

The ‘Holiday at Home’ team is excited to invite you to join us as we travel to ‘Hollywood’ with our senior members. From 6th – 8th August the church will transform to welcome and share time together with almost 100 people. Holiday at Home is an opportunity for our senior members (Oasis) and our wider community to  get a break over the summer without leaving Manchester.  The summer can feel really long as many of their regular clubs/meetings take a pause for the summer – Holiday at Home provide three days of fellowship, fun and food.  BUT…it needs a group of helpers to make it happen.
We are asking for your support in different ways – can you bake some cakes, offer transport to or from church, support in the kitchen, play dominoes, spend time talking with people, provide some music or craft activities – if so, we’d love for you to share and serve in  all (or part) of our Holiday? If so, please sign up via the link below or on the sign up sheets in church.
If there is something else you think you could help with or want some more information please email below or speak to Will Carey or Linda Bonner.
