NWGP Ministry Training Course

Responding to the Ukrainian refugee crisis

As well as praying, there are practical things that can be done. Here are 3 organisations to make you aware of:
1. Individuals and organisations can make a pledge to be a sponsor at the Sanctuary Foundation website. These pledges will aid government policy.

2. Individuals and organisations with accommodation to offer can register interest on the government website

3. The organisation “Reset” is helping register and match refugees from Ukraine with sponsors across the UK. See the “Reset” website here.

A key message from these organisations is to think ahead if you are offering housing. Consider your situation, the space you have, any family considerations, proximity to local services like schools and doctors. As a church we are exploring what practical and financial help we can provide.

Electoral Roll

If you haven’t already signed up, we would like to invite you to join the church Electoral Roll. Being on the Electoral Roll is one way of signalling your membership at church. It also means you are eligible to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) next spring. If you aren’t currently on the Electoral Roll and would like to be, please fill in and return this form.
If you would like to know more about the Electoral Roll, or what it means to sign up to it, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
