Sunday Evening Zoom Seminar
Our Sunday evening zoom seminars continue this week at 7:30pm. As we reach over 100 days of lockdown, what does it look like to live in community with one another when we can’t see each other as we’d like to. How do we speak hope about community even in the current situation? Sarah will be sharing a few thoughts, and helping us think about it together. Contact us for the Zoom link.
"Keep Manchester Tidy" Initiative
As part of the ‘Love Manchester Parks’ week, there is a community litter pick in Platt Fields Park. A team will be outside the Lakeside Centre with equipment and guidance will be provided. Coronavirus safety measures will be in action.
Friends International Outreach Training Webinars
Friends International Manchester would like to invite you and your church to join this summer’s Training Webinars given by FI, UCCF and other experienced trainers. You can find more information and sign up here.

Shopping for you
One of our congregation members Stef Benstead has been working on an initiative called Shopping For You through a Community Interest Company called Liberty Farm – looking to help the sick and disabled and those with restricted access to shopping and/or particular dietary needs.
Stef is looking for both volunteers and to spread the awareness of this service – please visit the website here if you would benefit or feel you would like to know more about helping.
Manchester City Council Response Team
Manchester City Council have set up a response team to assist those who live alone, are struggling to make ends meet, are self-isolating or are generally in need of advice or support. We’ve been encouraged to help make it known as widely as possible. If this would be useful to you or someone you know, please do contact them. To find out more, visit their website here.
