Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Whether your burdens feel heavy or light, public or private you’re very welcome to join us to pray on Thursdays as we have in previous lockdowns. We’ll always be finished within half an hour. You’d be very welcome to come to one or come to them all! Contact the office for more information.

Hong Kong Ready Churches

Recently the Government introduced a new visa for Hong Kong residents which will enable them to move to the UK. It’s estimated that about 130,000 people will take up the visa offer in 2021 and Manchester is a key potential relocation city.

As a church we want to be welcoming to all who come through our doors. This national Zoom event will look at the Bible’s teaching on hospitality, hear from those who have recently arrived from Hong Kong, and learn some practical ways that newcomers can be welcomed. You can find out more and sign up here.

Every year the Christian Unions of the different Universities in Manchester get together to host a week of events. This year their theme is “Known”. They want to reach students with the wonderful news that there is a God who knows them and who desires to be known. They will be running a series of online events for students throughout the month of February. If you would like to hear prayer requests and updates, you can subscribe to their mailing list online here.

Covid-19 Vaccination Site Volunteers

There is currently an urgent need for Volunteer Marshals to help support the City of Manchester’s community-based vaccination sites. If this is something you might be able to assist with, you can find out more information or sign up online here.
