What's coming up at Platt
In addition to our regular church activities, there are other events at Platt and around the local area. Details of these can be found below.
Reach the City Prayer meeting
Our three in-person services will resume from Sunday 14 March at 9:15am, 11am, 6pm. We have a full risk assessment and are operating within the latest guidance to be Covid-19 secure. Find out more by watching this video.
The next video shows what it will be like as you arrive.
Welcome for the Marsh Family
This coming week we will be welcoming our new curate, Jack, and his family, Anna, Isabel and John, to Manchester. If you would like to write them a note of welcome (postcard size), maybe including some of your favourite things to do in and around the city, they will be included in a little welcome pack that we will be giving to them.
We are going to hold a short weekly service on Tuesdays at 2pm (please arrive at 1:45 to allow time to fill in test and trace information). It will be quieter, shorter and smaller than our Sunday services, particularly for those who find Sundays too busy at the moment.

Platt Book Club
The next PBC, Platt Book Club, will be taking place over Zoom on Friday 9th July at 8pm. We will be discussing Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi. If you are interested in reading books you might not usually read and meeting people you might not ordinarily meet, please do come along. Email the office for the Zoom link.
If you are new to Platt, we would love to invite you to a series of welcome zooms over the coming month. We hope it will provide an opportunity for you to learn more about us as a church, get to know some other people, and for us to get to know you too. Fill in one of our welcome forms for more details.
A moderate 8 mile hike in North Wales. Please bring a waterproof jacket, suitable footwear and a packed lunch.
If you wish to come, please let Jacqueline know at firstname.lastname@example.org, including whether you will need or are able to offer a lift.
