Raising disability awareness and support within Platt
We are holding our next meeting to discuss raising awareness of disability and co-ordinating support for children and adults with disabilities within Platt on Sunday 26th March at 3:30pm on zoom. Whether you have been able to join us before or not, if this is of interest to you, then do contact Karen for the zoom link.
From 8th March, 10am: the 8-week course begins.
The course is FREE (incl materials and computer access) and is designed to equip those looking for work with the skills to do so. If this is of interest, or you would like to refer a friend, please email Denis or you can call Denis on 07361 882064.
Easter Sunday Bring and Share lunch
Anyone welcome, bring food to share with others and enjoy Easter Day lunch together.
Sun 9th April, after our 10:30am service.
Parish Litter Pick
Please join us as we take flyers into our parish to let people know about the Community Meals we’re offering, and at the same time we’ll be doing some litter picking to help make the streets nicer places to live.
The Fallowfield and Withington Foodbank is currently running low on stocks of tinned tomatoes, tinned fruit and cereal. We have collection crates at Platt in the breakout space lobby, or there is also a collection bank at Sainsbury’s in Fallowfield if you would like to donate.
If you haven’t already signed up, we would like to invite you to join the church Electoral Roll. Being on the Electoral Roll is one way of signalling your membership at church. It also means you are eligible to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) next spring. If you aren’t currently on the Electoral Roll and would like to be, please fill in and return this form.
If you would like to know more about the Electoral Roll, or what it means to sign up to it, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Our hardship team is available for those who might need financial help or support. If you’d like to know more, please contact email@example.com.
A moderate 8 mile hike in North Wales. Please bring a waterproof jacket, suitable footwear and a packed lunch.
If you wish to come, please let Jacqueline know at firstname.lastname@example.org, including whether you will need or are able to offer a lift.
