Perspectives on Platt Church

This year Holy Trinity Platt Church celebrates its 175th birthday. This church has stood in this area since 1846. As part of this year of celebration we are interested in hearing from people living near the church and people who attend the church about their perspectives.

What are your thoughts on Platt church?
What does it mean to have this church in this place in 2021?

It might be that you walk past it every day but have never been inside.
Perhaps you can see the spire from across the park.
Maybe the church has been part of your life for a long time.
Perhaps you have been inside the church during significant moments – weddings, funerals, christenings?
Is there a part of the church building that you love and that means something to you?
What are you curious about – what does the church building make you think about?

Whether you know the church or don’t at all, we would love to hear from you.
Please write your responses in the form below. All responses welcome.

We will be collating these later in the year alongside visual responses in an exhibition.

If you have any queries, please contact the office.

This information will be stored securely by Holy Trinity Platt church and will only be used in relation to the Platt 175 perspectives project.
