What is 'Roots'?
This is a one year course going through a book of the Bible.
The current course started on Tuesday 6 October; we are studying the book of Romans.
Our hope is that as we study the Bible together you will put
your roots down in Christ more, and as we socialise together you will put your roots down in Platt more.
Who is it for?
Roots is particularly for you if you are a Christian new to Platt. It is a great way to get to know a few
people well which can be hard to do at services on a Sunday.
What do we do?
We start with a friendly meal – normally this has about 40 people attending. We then split into our
different groups to study the Bible and pray for each other. Once a term we have a group social, and at the end of each
term we have a party!
When?
Every Tuesday evening during term-time.
Where?
The church lounge.
Time?
Food at 6.30pm; study at 7.10pm; finish at 8.45pm.
It would be wonderful if you joined us.
Sadly you can only join Roots between September and January. After that you
will have to wait until the following September to join us.
Either way we look forward to meeting you.
