'Growing Spiritually' with Dr Shirley Jenner

  • Thursday 28 February & Thursday 28 March

From a Christian perspective, what do we understand by Growing Spiritually? When and how do we grow? What about seasons when we don’t feel we are growing? Join us over two evenings near the start and end of Lent, for a shared conversation about our experience of Growing Spiritually. The evenings will include an optional “spacious place” for anyone who prefers to reflect on these questions in peace and quiet. All welcome.

Science & Christianity event with Dr Rod Benson

  • Saturday 2 March
  • 10am-4pm (lunch provided)
  • £3 to cover the cost of food

Join us for a teaching day exploring the relationship between Science and Christianity. Some scientists claim that science has found a way to silence the testimony of the universe to God’s glory. Whilst Christians instinctively reject this claim it can cause people to begin to question what the bible says.

The talks will begin by considering how science works philosophically and end with an exploration of Romans 1:20 – showing how our modern understanding of the cosmos really does reveal God’s invisible qualities, being clearly seen through what has been made.
