What is Christianity Explored?

Christianity Explored is a great opportunity to investigate the life and claims of Jesus Christ, and find out about the good news that He came to bring. It is an eight week course where we examine an account of Jesus' life written by a man called Mark, and you are will have the chance to discuss and learn about the Christian faith. You will not be asked to pray or sing, it is informal and relaxed, and you do not need to know anything about the Bible or church in order to come along.

What happens?

Christianity Explored happens on Monday evenings here at Platt church in the lounge, beginning on Monday 7th February, and it is completely free to attend. The evening begins at 7:30pm, with light refreshments, and ends by 9pm. There will be a short talk, together with group discussions, and you are able to ask any questions that you like. There is no obligation to come to the whole course, you are free to attend as often as you like, although as each week builds on the previous week many who have enjoyed the course in the past find that coming to each session was the most helpful.

Who's it for?

The course is for anyone who wants to find out more about the Christian faith. You may never have heard the gospel of Jesus before, or you may have been a Christian for years and you simply want to revisit the foundations of Christianity. If you are reading this, then you are probably already thinking about finding out more about Jesus Christ. Why not come along to our opening evening on Monday 7th February, and see whether this course is for you?
